 Day 1: Arrival in Málaga

A NaluSur representative is going to pick you up at the airport and take you to your beautiful hotel in the heart of the old town in Malaga. Enjoy the city center for the rest for the day and have dinner in a local Seafood restaurant famous for the tasty shrimps they cook.

 Day 2: Malaga- visit to the white villages, eat in a local home

After breakfast, a day of local experiences begins. The white villages around Malaga are absolutely lovely. They feel like being taken out from a fairytale. All buildings are painted in white, adapted to the heat of the summer, with green beautiful gardens, small windows and all blinds down during the day. Learn about the customs of the people in this area, eat in a local home and feel like a local.

In the afternoon you will have a guided tour through Malaga. The guide will recommend the best local restaurants to have dinner to.

 Day 3: Malaga – Cabo de Gata: kayak tour

Enjoy a nice breakfast at your hotel. After that your guide will pick you up and you will be transferred to Cabo de Gata, one of the most amazing coasts in Andalucia. It is a truly unique place, with breathtaking views and clear blue water.

In the afternoon you will explore the shore of Cabo de Gata by kayak, the best way to discover its real beauty. The guide will take you though small golfs, little caves and tunnels and will tell you stories about this beautiful part of the world.

You will have then some time to explore the village and have dinner.

 Day 4: Cabo de Gata: Paddle boarding or kayak tour

After breakfast, you will start a Stand Up Paddle tour. No worries, it is a perfect activity for any age that does not require special skills. You will pick it up quickly, your trainer will be there for you every step of the way. You will have than a sailorman lunch in a restaurant on the beach and free afternoon to enjoy the beautiful beach.

 Day 5: Cabo de Gata – Tabernas: Cycling tour through the desert

Start your day with a nice breakfast because the route continues. After spending some time by the sea it’s time to move on towards the desert. The Andalucian desert, called Tabernas desert, is located in Almeria, the driest region in Europe and is a natural park, protected as a wilderness area that spans on 280 square km. It is a unique view to see. As the landscape is so similar to the one in the Far West of North America, many western movies have been shot here.

The desert tour will start by bike with a 3 h route through the infinite landscapes. We are going to have a picnic lunch at Las Eras restaurant and continue in the afternoon with a 4×4 route through the desert to see the most emblematic places where very well known movies have been shot.

The day will end with a dinner at the Las Eras Restaurant.

 Day 6: Tabernas – Granada: local products, Tour of Granada

This morning you will learn about ecological agriculture in the desert area. Later on you will travel to Granada, a city that accommodates some of the most important cultural heritages of Spain. The most well-known are Alhambra and the neighborhood of Albaicín that have been designated by UNESCO World Heritage sites. But Granada has much more to offer, is the best place in the world where you can see a real Flamenco show in the gypsy caves in Sacromonte and the tradition in Granada is that tapas are served free for each drink you order in any restaurant after 6 pm.

You will do a guided tour of the city in the afternoon. This can be either a walking tour or a Segway tour. The alternative would be to take the hop-on hop-off bus around the city if you wish to avoid walking too much.

 Day 7: Granada – Alhambra, tapas tour & Flamenco concert

You will explore the castle of Alhambra and its gardens and learn about the history of this absolutely incredible palace.

In the late afternoon we will do a tapas tour to experience the Spanish cuisine.

The night will continue with an authentic Flamenco show in the best place where you can have such an experience, in a gypsy cave.

 Day 8: Granada – Ronda – Marbella

After breakfast transfer to Ronda, where you will visit this mountaintop town,famous worldwide for its dramatic panoramic views and escarpments made by the deep gorge called El Tajo. The old town of Ronda has a particular historic charm and Puente Nuevo, the bridge that crosses the gorge is an authentic jewel of this region, many visitors making line to visit it.

After this breathtaking experience we continue towards the South, by the sea, to Marbella, famous amongst celebrities for its parties, unique climate, charming old town and Puerto Banus.

 Day 9: Marbella – Mijas : tuk tuk tour, fisherman experience & sardines cooking class

After having a rich breakfast, another local experience awaits us at 25 away from Marbella, in Mijas, a beautiful village on a hill, overlooking the sea. You will explore the narrow streets by tuk-tuk, admiring the typical Andalucian architecture and village lifestyle. In the afternoon, transfer back to Marbella.

 Day 10: Marbella – airport

At the time of your flight you will be transferred to the airport.

During the entire trip breakfast is included and in certain days lunch as well, please revise the daily itinerary, where all this is mentioned. As food is such an important part of the trip, and the gastronomy in our region is so rich, we leave the options open for your meals in many days.
